Well not to argue here or downplay your view on comparing. My young mind at the time didn't know it was cinematic, heck if anything it was all mostly in-game footage to me and still is.
One reason why I feel like the article compared gameplay vs cinematic. After hours and hours of playing, I thought it was just a scripted in game scene.

at some point you gotta move on. And to think now a days a game on X1 and X360 will be the same is a bit naive. As a customer the dream of a similar game would be awesome, yet it is a business.
I do feel bad for FH2 360 users, but if they expected more or just as equal to the X1 then some expectations need to be adjusted to a rational level.
BTW I do agree that this news should have been given out before the release game. As some people jumped into the pool not knowing how the experiences would be.
Why support last gen? Yes it's a no no to give the middle finger to any customer, yet by not doing that it is more work and hassle to try and give both games the same features.
When in reality, the gap between last gen and next gen is pretty obvious and that is why certain features can't make it. Also due to cost of developing for two different consoles.

Great 80 million copies somehow makes the argument of forza being a sim not legit.
Does it matter? Both can be good games. Personally I can say forza is a fun game. DC I wont try as I already got a racing game :( I'll try the PS+ when it goes out.
Sales don't equal to game quality it's been preached here for so long and it is true.
There was an old racing game for Xbox and Ps2 maybe, had pong as a waiting game while the game loaded. Playing that with friends prior to racing was fun. Especially the smack talk we did for that game.
My guess is they didn't try it once and said "Yep it works myth busted fells"

If you love it then jump on it. Games worth it. Trust me when you start to get cash that Ferrari or Lambo will be worth the buy.
was racing online and looked back to see where the rest of the players were and was stunned with how the lights look. I literally asked all the players in the session to look back...except for last place :D.

Built a gaming rig last month and so far I've given it more attention than PS4 and X1. X1 has more attention since I got Destiny and soon Forza Horizon 2. But other than that my PC will get more attention.
Be warn, when summer sale and winter sale come you will buy more games that you will not play or finish.
HL2, EP1, EP2, Portal, Metal Slug, Bioshock (all of them) Fallout 3....Yeah I like to play these games time to time and happy I can!
Also street fighter, mortal kombat are worse movies than final fantasy.
